Chengdu Chapter Established (2005)

On 7th April 2005, the official launch of the Chengdu Chapter of the European Chamber was held, at which 15 Ambassadors of the European Union attended, including EU Ambassador to China Serge Abou and Luxembourg Ambassador to China Marc Ungeheuer, whose country then held the rotating EU presidency.

The ceremony took place during an exchange meeting between the Sichuan Province authorities and the European envoys.
